Our mission is to inform and educate families of African ancestry on methods and practices to heal and thrive together, by providing cultural enrichment services that promote optimal health and wellness.
Founded October 3rd, 2020 in the height of the Covid19 pandemic, the Melanin Day School Academy has been dedicated to creating a village of support networks, where scholars thrive at being their best selves yet.
Our team consist of parents, teachers and other community leaders that are passionate about helping each other succeed. Our cultural enrichment specialist have a combination of 30+ years of educational experience and are so happy to share it with you!

Dec. 16 and 17: Annual Sankofa Gala and Jazz Brunch hosted buy the Melanin day School Academy with mesmerizing Afrobatics to captivating performances, including live renditions by Sabrina the Songstress and her Jazz Ensemble, and delectable culinary creations by Chef Grace. This is an annual fundraiser and worthy cause (tax deductible).
